Titanium in Chemical Processing
In oxidising chlorides and many acid streams, titanium outlasts stainless and nickel alloys at a fraction of the weight. Chlor-alkali, catalyst recovery, acid pickling lines and fine-chemical reactors are the classic titanium territories — published corrosion tables are the starting point, your plant data is the verdict.
Grade Selection by Medium (published-practice view)
| Service | Common practice | Check |
|---|---|---|
| Wet chlorine / oxidising chlorides | Ti (Gr2) | dry Cl&sub2; — NOT titanium |
| HNO&sub3; & oxidising acids | Ti (Gr2) | concentration + temperature |
| Hot dilute H&sub2;SO&sub4; / reducing acids | Gr7 (Pd) | acid cleaning cycles |
| Hot brine / seawater loop | Gr12 → Gr2 | temperature > ~70 °C |

Project Documentation Pack
Plant buyers ask for MTC per heat/lot, NDT records, packing traceability and third-party inspection before dispatch — we coordinate the pack. PED/pressure-equipment conformity for Europe is a project-by-project discussion with your notified body; we support the paperwork, we don't certify.
Multi-Product Consolidation
The same plant order that needs 8 mm Gr2 plate also needs tube, flanges and bolts. One purchase order, one container, one document set is the reason chemical buyers work with a sourcing partner — a Turkish plant's 20 MT mixed load is the type of job we run.
