Grade 2 Titanium (CP Ti, TA2)
If someone says "titanium" for industrial service, they usually mean Grade 2. UNS R50400, GB TA2, DIN 3.7035 — 345 MPa minimum, superb resistance to seawater, chlorides and oxidising acids, and forgiving to fabricate and weld. Most of our orders are Gr2.

Why Most Industrial Orders Are Gr2
Corrosion life in chloride and oxidising media, strength CP grades can't match at equal weight, availability in every mill form, and no exotic welding practice needed. Gr1 forms better, Gr4 is stronger, but Gr2 sits at the balance most engineers want.
Available Forms
All nine product lines: plate · bar · tube · wire · flanges · forgings · fasteners · machined to drawing · foil
Where Gr2 Is Not the Answer
Hot brine above ~70 °C → Gr12. Reducing acids (e.g. hot HCl) → Gr7. Structural strength → Gr5. Full method in the Gr2 vs Gr5 comparison.
