ASTM vs ASME "SB" Designations
ASME re-publishes ASTM specs with an S-prefix for code usage (ASME SB265 = ASTM B265 content). When your order cites a pressure-code route, the SB form is what appears in paperwork — the metal doesn't change.

Revision & Edition Traps
"ASTM B265" without a year/revision is a category, not a purchase document. Tolerances and grade tables move between editions — quote and inspect against the named edition, and say so on your PO.
What EN 10204 3.1 Covers
Material condition declared by the manufacturer, with test results per unit of material, independent of the buyer's request — the document chain behind heat number → lot → packing list. Our shipments carry MTCs in this style (see quality).
How We Quote Against Customer Standards
DIN 65040, LN 9297, AMS 4928, HG 20592 — when those names arrive on an enquiry, we answer against the named document with the mill, and the paperwork follows that line. Citing the standard is the buyer's requirement, not our certification.
